Welcome to Pioneer Leisure Centre

Pioneer Leisure Centre is a suburban centre that was transformed in 1999 into a modern recreation and aquatic facility. The centre features a fun leisure pool with a wave machine, spa, sauna and steam room all poolside, along with a separate 25m, 5 lane lap pool. The fitness centre is well equipped with a wide rage of cardio and weight gear, with an aerobic studio and circuit room. A large indoor sports stadium is available for hire, that can cater for sports training, major competitions and large display or trade show events.

Each term a fantastic variety of popular exercise and recreation classes for babies through to adults are available, such as Jazz dance, swimsmart (learn to swim), basketball, pre school gymnastics, gymnastics, aquafit, aerobics, pilates, yoga and much more.

At Pioneer Leisure Centre other services include the Pioneer Early Learning Centre, Café, Sportsmed Medical Centre, Swim shop, Canterbury Volleyball, stadium court hire and meeting room hire.
